April 29th- Sunday, May 2nd MARATHON - 5:00 PM till 9:30 PM 9:30 PM - New Episode New letters posted... Hi Gene, When I got my Axe Bass I had no idea the amount of attention it would get from people. I keep it my game room. Friends, coworkers, that come over are drown to it like a magnet. They all say the same thing. "What the hell, where did you get that, that is so cool"! I explain how I obtained it. The response is the same. No way! You got to meet Gene and he signed it and gave it to you. I then refer them to your website. I also took the AXE to a local bar and grill that has live entertainment. I wanted to hear it. I do not have an amp. During a break I approached the bass player and asked him to test it out. When he saw what it was he was amazed. He said are you sure you want me to plug this in. I have been to Gene's site. I know how much you spent on this. I said yes. I want to hear it. He did a Bass solo and it sounded great ! Needless to say people at the bar swamped me with questions about it. I felt like an unofficial spokesperson for the Gene Simmons AXE Bass. Meanwhile Shannon and Tracy host a designer "Tazer Party" to promote self-defense. April 17th- Sunday, April 18th MARATHON - 6:00 PM till 9:30 PM 9:30 PM - New Episode- "Gene Gets Punked" After 15 years of endless pranks, KISS manager Doc McGhee enlists Shannon to help get Gene back once and for all. While in New Orleans for the annual Voo Doo Fest, Gene is lead to believe that the roadies have gone on strike due to a curse the locals have put on him. They will only resume work if he goes through the necessary steps to cure the "curse" himself. April 16th- We recently did a foto session for the NO H8 campaign. In short, hate no one... Hello All, As some of you may have seen in the press recently, Gene Simmons has officially announced The Envy as the first signing to his label Simmons Records in Canada! The Envy, who formed in early 2009, are presently recording with JUNO award-winning producer Gavin Brown (Billy Talent, Metric, Three Days Grace) as well as the songwriter/producer Desmond Child (Katy Perry, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Tokio Hotel) for their Simmons/UMC debut release. Last year, the band toured across Canada with the likes of Stereos, Marianas Trench and The Midway State. The Envy will be a long term development project for Universal Music Canada. April 5th- Went up to the Playboy Mansion with Miss Tweed for Easter Sun Egg Hunt -- an annual event where former Playmates bring their kiddies up to hunt for eggs. Pamela Anderson came up for a quick buss. Hef looked in fine form. Lots of eye candy. April 4th- Airing Dates and Times: Sunday, April 4th MARATHON - 5:00 PM till 10:00 PM 9:00 PM - New Episodes April 3rd- April 2nd- By Troy White    April 2nd, 2010 Two years ago, I was having dinner at the Grand Ole Opry hotel in Nashville, getting ready to attend the Dan Kennedy Superconference. Just up to my right I saw someone come out of a discretely placed side door, and start walking down the hall towards me. "Hey. There's Gene Simmons!" Gene was booked to speak at the seminar the next morning, but here he was wandering down the hallway all by himself. No one had even really noticed who this living legend was that was casually strutting his stuff, all by his lonesome. So my buddy Owen and I jumped up and went to say hi. He was incredibly friendly, offering us signatures or photos if we wanted. As we were snapping a couple pictures, people around us started to figure out who this was... and the crowd soon surrounded him. What impressed me was watching him with the crowd. There's a guy that knows who pays his bills! He was patient and friendly with everyone. Photo? Sure. Sign this? Sure. He made sure every single person who wanted it, either got a picture with him or went home with something signed by Gene (the girls usually went away with some very strategically written ink on their bodies). No rush - he was there to be with his fans. One fascinating thing about his fans was the multiple generations that consider him the best in the world. Grandmothers there with their grandkids - each of them as giddy at meeting Gene as the other. The next morning he gave a fantastic talk about thinking big and success in business. Many people judge Gene by the image he portrays in his old KISS costume, with makeup, platform boots and tongue sticking out.
