Gene Simmons co-founded KISS thirty years ago with Paul Stanley. KISS is America's number one gold record winning group and has broken every attendance record set by Elvis Presley and the Beatles. KISS continues to be the juggernaut of the licensing and merchandising world with over 2,000 licenses from KISS condoms, and KISS Visa cards, to Kiss caskets.

Gene Simmons is the founder and publisher of his own magazine, Gene Simmons Tongue and was president of his own record label., Simmons Records/RCA. As a manager, Gene oversaw the musical careers of other recording artists, including Liza Minelli, and he discovered Van Halen. He acted in motion pictures like Runaway and Wanted: Dead or Alive, and produced New Line Cinema's Detroit Rock City. He is about to debut the Gene Simmons Clothing imprint, and he recently launched his first lecture tour in Australia.
