Gene,
I thought you might get a kick out of this. My wife ant I took out 4 year old daughter Bella, who is a big fan of yours (whenever she sees you she says "That's my friend Gene Simmons!), out to dinner the other night to a local restaurant that has family night. They always have a guy there who makes balloon animals and other interesting things.
We asked Bella whatshe wanted the balloon man to make her and she said "Gene Simmons".
So when he came over to the table and he asked her what she wanted, she told him "Gene Simmons". He looked a little stunned but don't you know he pulled it off!!!!!
Here is a picture of Bella with her "friend Gene Simmons" made by Michael Klee.

Hi
my name is Charlie, I'm from Liverpool and I am 14 years old and KISS have been my favourite band since I was 6, not because my perants like them like many young KISS fans, because my perants do not.
But yeah I work in a t-shirt/merchandise store on weekends and the guy that runs part of it called 'Gary' (his names important, coz, yano its his name) is making the caps for or something for your new tour.
He said he met you in Las Vegas to discuss it, on more than one occasion, I just wanted to know if he's bullshitting to make me jealous or if this really happened, did it?
He often bullshits.
Also if it is true I think you should give him something signed to give to me if you see him again. Its not hard, you just scribble on a piece of paper, and it is your job. If you do this say its for the little ginger/blonde kid called Charlie who does work experiance in your shop.
I hope I havent come across rude and I thank you for making great music for 35 years, well not all of those years, Animalize is a weak album, Thrills in the night and Heavens on fire are good but you didnt write either, you were probally filming runaway of something.
Sorry again if that sounds rude, and by the way I like your answers to some of the questions on the website, there honest and straight to the point, I like answers like that.
But yes please try and answer my question.
Oh and also he said he was trying to get you to play an acoustic set in the cavern club. I doubt this will happen, and if it does be warned I've played the cavern and the sound mans shit, or maybe we were shit, doubt it.
But yeah did he ask you that and did you meet him?
He's bald scouse, buisness like and is making your hats.
Thanks for you time
Charlie from Liverpool
P.S. I attached to pictures of me, one from when I was 8 at a fancy dress party dressed as Ace with my mum (dressed to kill period) and one of me now, you probally dont care but have a gander if you have time.
Response from Gene:
Nice of you to write. Thanks.
Oh, incidentally..there's this band from Liverpool you might want to check out. They may have a future. They call themselves The Beatles. My fav.

Dear Gene,
As in investor in Kiss, Inc. for the past thirty years, I was wondering when I can expect a dividend to be distributed. You can't take it with you, you know!
Response from Gene:
YES I CAN.
Hey Gene:
I watch your show faithfully on A&E every Tuesday night. I really enjoy seeing that you really are a true person and you have a great love for your family. It is really exciting to watch.
You have a great respect for your beauty queen Shannon.... I loved the episode that she produced with the home videos. Very touching... will she be putting together another?
Your children are great and you are so proud of them and their accomplishments... I guess what I am getting at is that you are a role model for the men of my generation and those to come. I believe that is why you are so blessed.
You also have a great business sense and you really know how to market yourself and products or services you truly believe in. You are a legend and an icon. I am sure that having the tongue helps...in more ways than one...
I wanted to ask how did the "Nail Me" Men Spa work out?? Curious.....
In closing.... my Tuesday's are very busy. My girls are going from one activity to another that dsy and watching you and your family is a great way for me to come down from my day... it always leaves me smiling!!!! Thank you...

Just wondering, what do you think of The Donnas cover of Strutter?
And the video with them wearing Kiss makeup?
Response from Gene:
Cool.
dear mr simmons,
i saw on your tv show that you bought some land in a remore area and its paying off for you now. im working on a project in eager az. by the white mountains. it has a 118 acre championship golf course 200 home sites(all streets utilities and lights are in, pads ar set) and 18 acres for commercial with a letter of intent to build a hotel on it. its a beautiful area comparable to taos new mex. if you have any interest in looking at this prodject as a partial investment i can e-mail you the appraisal, executive summary, and other related materials. golf course is in the black this year with 28 tournaments scheduled. 70 home sites are sold and 18 homes built.

Response from Gene:
NOT TRUE.
Dear Mr. Simmons,
Gene, would you ever think to help some of us “not as educated in the business world as you” peoples learn how to get some of those Money Bags?

May I be an Affiliate?
Me and Hubby could really use the dough here in Michigan…Yeah the Home of Rock-N-Roll Detroit City!
Your show is “hands down” the best reality show I’ve seen to-date. You and Shannon and the kids are so cool and cute.
I am just an Admin. Assistant. I’m with Liberty Mutual…the “Responsibility” people.
My Manager, Mr. Kerry Lacy is also a fine Musician and I am learning to play Alto Sax.
Let’s help each other out. We just can’t go wrong here.
Sincerely,
“The Boss” Sharlene Hinos
Rock On!
Response from Gene:
As much as I would love to have one on ones with nice people such as yourself, it's physically impossible. I wish you well.
I just looked at your website, Kissonline, and Paul Stanley’s website. You guys don’t mention each other, nor have a link to each other’s website, and I haven’t seen him on your show (unfortunately I haven’t seen every episode). Is that why you guys have had so much success in Kiss? Because you make sure you have your separate lives, and come together for the band? Just curious.

Response from Gene:
Well, yes and no. We live less than a half mile from each other...see each other often at the local coffee shop and we've been together for 35 years. I mean, how close do you want us to be?
Hi Gene,
This is in response to a comment you made about a letter I sent to you. In your response you stated:
"Thanks for the incisive email. But everyone, including yourself (respectfully) misses my point about IDEAS. They mean nothing. Really. ...Simply because the distance between an IDEA and SOMETHING REAL is very far off."
With all due respect to you, I actually do understand your point about ideas and the fact that they mean nothing. Without working capital an idea can never be more than just that, an idea. This is why you never receive letters from me discussing ideas or business ventures. I understand that in order for and idea to become "SOMETHING REAL", I need money. I have several projects that I am working on and I am in the process of securing financial backing for them. Progress has been slower than I would like but I am making progress. In order for something to become real, it must first start out as an idea. For example, KISS started out as an idea, but it took money and hard work to make it "SOMETHING REAL". You and I have a lot more in common than you might realize. We just go about expressing our views in different ways. As always, Thank you for your response and your insight.
Take Care,
Kevin

Response from Gene:
And respectfully, never discuss an idea with anyone until you're ready -- and that means funding, distribution, marketing and/or whatever the idea needs to become real. Otherwise (including your letter below inferring POSSIBLE funding) stay simply as ideas. Until, if and when you are ready to go, you're not ready to go. No matter how close you are to the finish line, the race isn't over until you cross over the finish line.
Everything I said in my previous answer to your email, still stands. Nothing's changed. Until you change it.
Gene said:
. . . only those who have achievedcan afford to give charity. If we were all poor, there would be almost no charity.
Gene,
I must respectfully disagree on this point. Any poor Amish farmer who assists his neighbor in raising a barn, or any Habitat for Humanity volunteer who works for free to erect a new home, is being charitable. And it doesn't matter what they've done in the past, or how much money they've had, before asking to help.
In this way, achievementsare made irrelevant. Charity is here. Charity is now. The past has no bearing on being charitable today. Any man (or woman) who has the benefit of others in his heart and mind, and works towards that end, is being charitable. And you don't have to be as successful as Gene Simmons to be able do it. All you have to do is volunteer.
Thanks for listening.
Roman Gheesling
Response from Gene:
Respectfully, delusional at best. Your assessment is a fantasy, and based on a small community and one person being kind. The world is inhabited by 6 billion people, most of whom are starving. It takes money to buy food, lodging, clothing and so on. I'm sure you're very kind hearted, but hard cash makes things happen. Sadly.
