This picture is from Philadelphia show which was so awesome I cannot find the words. The entire place was on their feet the whole time.
Thanks-- there's nothing like some good old fashioned Rock and Roll.................................

Dear Mr Simmons,
My name is Kathy and I am sick with leukemia at the City of Hope in Ca. My boyfriend Joe went to your meet and greet in Pa last night. He told you what a fan I am and you signed a hat for me and most wonderful of all you called me. You had me and a whole bunch of City of Hope patients and Drs and nurses screaming with delight. You are an amazing man and so attentive to you fans. And you wouldnt believe how many you have here alone. I intend to be sitting in your audience one day soon to see your amazing show. Joe was blown away by it.
There are no words to express my deepest gratitude for your taking the time to make a sick girl feel wonderful.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart

Hi Gene!
Congrats on a great new record and tour!
So to my question: What is your opinion on Barak Obama being elected for this years Nobel Peace Price by the Nobel commitee in Oslo, Norway? There seem to be quite a lot of critisism concerning their choice, in particular because of his short run as a President, and also (especially in Europe) that he is the leader of a country that at this time fights two wars. The leader of the committee, Thorbjørn Jagland answered this critisism by making it clear that the price was given to Obama on the basis of his visions, and that it is a "support of a very important process that can lead to a new and better situation in the world". It was a mandate to bring about change, and a way to committ the leader of the (still) most powerful nation in the world to further these visions and this process.
Gene?
Best wishes,
Eivind Haug
Response from Gene:
I voted for Mr. Obama.
However, it's clear the Nobel Peace Prize has become a political organization. I do not believe President Obama deserves the prize so early in his presidency. There are others who have sacrificed their entire lives for the benefit of others. They deserve it more.

I would like to extend a thank you to Kiss and Gene Simmons.
The reason I am thanking them is because my best friend has been a kiss fan every since i can remember. He has been deployed in a couple combat zones for the last 18 months and is due back in-country by mid October because he gave up his earlier spot to come back to let a fellow soldier come back that had material problems. I think that is the most unselfish thing i have ever heard abd it had to come from someone else because he would never say anything about it. This guy has recieved so many medals for valor and a couple purple hearts and as i witnessed the last medal ceromony he claimed when he got back he was gonna send Gene Simmons a medal because if it was not for him he would never have made it through the 3 tours of duty in the combat zones and claims that Gene is the hero not him. He also say's that he keeps going back because he does not want his 2 boys to have to do the things he has had to do for freedom.
I am asking if you could pass this on to Gene and let him know i thank him for all the support for our troops in harms way. I had tickets for one of Kiss concert but since he gave up his spot to come home i could not give him the tickets for the detroit concert. I should have went but i am more of a country fan that is why i only had 3 tickets for him and his 2 boys because i have found out that they are fans now as well.

Response from Gene:
That is why we honor our Military Men and Women. They are a nobler breed than we will ever be. They are what makes our lives possible. We honor them.

Hi Mr. Simmons,
We took our boys, ages 8 and 7 to your concert Saturday night at Madison Square Garden. It was a great show. Thanks for never letting the fans down. Our youngest, Michael, decided to “dress up” for the show. Thought you might like to see your little protégé. Makeup complements of Dad.
Can’t wait for the next show.

Hello Gene!
Isn't it time you tell us the real reason Peter didn't play the concert in which Ed Kanon replaced him?
Martin
Response from Gene:
He was being difficult and believed we couldn't do the show without him. We did. His roadie did it. And not a single ticket was asked to be given back.

Was surfing thru the TV channels and came across Scooby Doo and KISS was on. Thought I know or kept up on all things KISS. When was that episode created. Take care, and when does Family Jewels start back up?
David
Response from Gene:
March.
