Gene-
I know that you are very busy these days, so I`ll be brief.
I have always had very much respect for you and KISS since my childhood, but since the show in San Bernardino (10/18) I have gained sooo much more. We had seats that were about 10 rows from the stage, and the heat generated from the flames was so intense I started to sweat. I can only imagine how intense it is on stage, night after night - year after year. Thank you for your dedication to bringing KISS fans the best experience that money can buy. It was worth EVERY penny. Hope to see you perform again.
Much (more) Respect,
Michael
Dear Gene,
I have one question! I know you was once a school techer in New York. Back in 1994 I was dating this girl and her mother was also a school teacher in New York before she moved, I didn't pay no attention to it until I told her I was big time KISS fan, thats when she told me she taught school with you, she couldn't tell me your real name( I'm not sure if you used it then), but that kind of made me wonder, her name is Vanessa Jacovino. If you ever get the free time please clear this up for me. Also, your new book is great.

Gene,
I want to thank you for another killer show. I just recently saw Kiss on October 10th in San Francisco (Mountain View). This was my 14th Kiss concert and you guys put on the a great show as usual. What made this extra special was that I took my 6 year old son. We had the Gold package, and were lucky enough to get the 4th row. Maybe you remember, you actually pointed at my son an told him to stand up. Anyway, my son has not stopped talking about the show. Thanks for rocking for 30 years! I hope there are many more shows to come.
Thanks,
Mike and Brandon Cory
Hi Gene
I recently watched a re-run of the show, "Beverly Hills 90210" In this episode the kids were walking into a nightclub and the music in the club was the intro from KISS ALIVE of "You wanted the best. You got the best" It played over and over for about 10-15 seconds. I was just wondering if you knew about this and if you gave them permission to use it.
Thanks
Ken
Hello Again,
I wrote a week or so ago and am sending pictures of a couple sculptures I've done. I'm currently taking leave from Iraq. A couple weeks away from that hell, then back to finish the second half of my "tour". Made it home just in time for the concert at Glen Helen, how is that for a touch of good fortune.
Anyways, here are the pictures. One is an approximate 1-5th scale bust, the other is a 1-35th scale figure....hope you enjoy.

I just wanted to thank you for being so AWESOME! I waited in line 4 hours to meet you at the Nashville Borders book signing. There were still a ton of people behind me, but you didn't stop... you were amazing. You kept signing & making fans life (not just night). KISS has such great fans because you treat us so great. Not only do you rock, but you take A LOT of time out of your schedule- for that you ROCK even more! I am attaching my picture from the event- my heart was pounding! Could you tell?? Thanks again! Hope to see you soon!
Love,
Kim

Mr. Simmons
With 20,000+ fans screaming, just raising your hands to clap has the aforementioned mass doing the same. The crowd is at your command, and the roar they create is deafening.
Can you describe the feeling that gives you?
Can you point to a specific time that this first happened to you?
Your web-site is great.

Response from Gene:
It first hit me New Year's Eve, 1973/74 in NY, on stage at the Academy of Music.
PAINTED BLACK
Dearest Demon: I have noticed in recent FOTOS (I spelled it the way you like it)
ie. Sacramento, that you are no longer painting your finger nails black. I think they look cooler when you have them painted black. Any reason for this?

Response from Gene:
'Cause I don't wanna.
It's soon to be Halloween in Adelaide, Australia...and guess what - here's the scariest Pumpkin!
(A very cool design by me, winning our local Pumpkin Carving competition!)
Cheers Gene for the input to my lifetime of fun!
