Gene or to whom it may concern,
This year once again my son wanted to do the Gene Simmons outfit for Halloween. Brayton and I have put in alot of work on the outfit but it has been well worth it. We thought that we could put him in some contests as he won one last year. But have not found any in town. He was as was I a little disappointed that the one we thought that we could enter was only for 21 and over as we found out to late. He is only 11. But I thought that I would send a picture that we did tonight. I did kind of a rush job on the makeup but will take more time on Halloween. Just thought you might like to see a picture. Sincerely, Bill Wright and my son, Brayton
Hello Mr. Simmons,
I serve as Senior Editor for Independent Publishing Reviews. Our Board met last Saturday in Houston, Texas and we decided to award your "Sex Money Kiss" the Best Business Book of the Year Gold Seal of Approval.
I am not sure how to otherwise get in touch with you, and sincerely hope that you receive this email.
You can see your Review at www.bookpromotion.net - Page 2. You are more than welcome to mention your award in promo materials or on your book jacket.
Thank you,
Eric Dondero
Check this out: Every Halloween the kids at the school my 13-year-old son attends are allowed to dress in costume. My son announced that he was going to be Gene Simmons. Apparently word got around to the vice-principal and, since we live in a small town, he contacted me by phone asking if I would NOT allow my son to dress up as you because, and I quote: "This will be, by far, too big of a distraction to the other students making it difficult for them to attend to the normal school activities".
Can you believe this shit? I think I'll slap some long hair and a fake beard on him instead. A crown of thorns and a wooden cross strapped to his back. I betcha they wouldn't say a word.

Dearest Gene,
How are ya, hope you are GRREAT along with your Band Members Paul Tommy and Peter!! I am writing in regards to a letter that a Female fan wrote to you, and I know just how she feels Gene and then some.
I have had many dreams myself about you, but heck I can't help it, you can bring just any women to her knees Gene. You are such a wonderful, amazing and very SEXY man. You care alot about your Family, KISS Fans and Band Members and that is why I admire and look up to you Gene.
When I attended my 1st KISS Concert in Columbus, Ohio back in August of this year, and saw you on stage performing with Paul, Tommy and Peter, I went CRAZY just seeing you live for the 1st time!! My Best Friend had to hold me up when I saw you Gene, otherwise I knew I was gonna faint. That is the hold you have on my Gene and then some I could say. All of you are doing such a AWESOME performance for your KISS Fans everywhere Gene.
Sure Tommy gets alot of the heat just because Ace is not with KISS, but Tommy is doing an GRREAT Job as well, and I commend him for hanging in there when the times are tough, and I also commend you Gene and the others for being there for Tommy. Take care Gene, and you will always Be THE GOD OF THUNDER to me. Perhaps, 1 day I will get the chance to thank you personally for having sucha GRREAT influence on me along with the others. Your KISS Fan Always& Forever, Shirley
P.S. LOVE YA Gene!!
Hi Gene!
Ron Jeremy was interviewed on Swedish television tonight. He mentioned you and was very ironic about himself in a funny way.
"Both Gene Simmons and I have slept with 4000 to 5000 women.
He gets women cause he's a rock star. I get women cause they get paid...
He gets Shannon Tweed and other women who look like they come from the Playboy magazine.
I get women who look like Gene Simmons..."
Fan from Sweden
Dear Gene:
No questions here. Just writing to say thank you for being who you are. I'm proud to have you as an influence, proud to name you as a role model, and proud to have seen KISS in concert on Oct. 18th. AWESOME SHOW GENE! You guys were amazing! No rock and roll show will ever meet up to the show you guys put on. I guess the only thing that would meet up to it would be to go to another KISS concert. Darn, huh? ^_^
Take care and keep on doing what you do. Its orgasmic.

I would first like to say that I have enjoyed all of the KISS shows I have attended this year. I have purchased many tickets for these shows through KISS Online and the seats have been great. To date I have seen you guys at:
Hartford Gold Package (wife & I)
Washington DC Ticketmaster
Mansfield, Ma Gold Package (wife & I)
Mansfield, Ma Platinum for me, Gold for my wife
St. Louis, MO Platinum for me
The Platinum experience was so great that I will be doing it two more times, Manchester, NH and Boston, Ma. Im not sure if anyone else can say that they will be doing that. I really enjoy the warm feeling the four of you give to everyone who experiences the backstage fun.
My wife and I will be going to Las Vegas to see the two shows at the MGM Grand. We will be staying right at the hotel. If it isnt too much trouble I was wondering if you could spare a few minutes and maybe sign a few KISS collectibles for me? Im sure you have so many people sending you emails for your time and if Im bothering you, Im sorry.
I will also be going to the following shows in the upcoming months:
10/24 Las Vegas
10/25 Las Vegas
11/14 Bridgeport, Ct
11/16 New York City
11/24 Manchester, NH (Platinum)
11/26 Boston, Ma (Platinum)
Im still thinking about going to the Greensboro, NC show too. You probably think Im crazy but Ive waited a long time to see you guys and also to meet all of you. So seeing you guys 12 times on this tour is going to be a great experience for me and I hope I get to meet you (and maybe the rest of the guys) in Las Vegas. Thank you very much for your time and keep up the great shows.

I thought I would share with you just how KISS came into my life. My husband has been a big fan since he was 7. He never really made me sit down and listen to your music. We now have two wonderful boys Grayson (7) Benjie (5). Yep there is a lot of testosterone around the Harris house! One day I went off to peddle my wares, and realized that I forgot something. I zipped home to pick it up before my class. I came home to a house the was literally shaking from the loud music spewing from it. I walk in and my boys looked like the cat that ate the canary (all 3 of them). Grayson blurted or I guess I should say shouted it out, "It's KISS Momma isn't to cool." At which point the rolled my eyes and made a fast exit to the door. So my boys are now KISS fans thanks to my darraigned husband. Just wait I'm not cracking on KISS this is what I was really thinking.
So Monday rolls around, and we have to run some errands. The boys grab dressed to kill, and beg me to play it in the car. I would do anything for my boys, so I pop it in the CD player. My minds racing and it wasn't that hard to ignore. Then a really strange thing started to happen.... I started listening to it........and even more shocking to me I liked it. OK, I liked a few songs. C'mon and love me I thought it was really the bomb because my husband is a Capricorn and I am a Cancer. The best zodiac match out there! Anyway I love most of your music now. The really cool thing is that you guys have been around for so long there are still songs that I have yet to hear.
So I mentioned all that testosterone around here. Your music has brought me closer to my boys. All three for them. There are times as a Mom I kind of feel out of the loop. But now we have this connection that will be there forever thanks to you. I love my boys and that truly is a priceless gift! Now on the my big boy (husband) I listen to your music all day long, and lets face it for the most part it's about sex! So by the time he gets home from work I am ready to pounce on him! So thanks for the boost in my libido. And David thanks you guys (Gene, Paul, Peter, Ace, Bruce, & Eric) every night before he goes to sleep.
I have read your book Kiss and Makeup, and no I am not going to bash you! I can't wait to get the second one. The first one was very well written. You have a way of hitting the nail right on the head!
Just wanted to say thanks for the 30 years of struggle because I am loving your music, and I hope you guys keep up the great work. Like you will ever even read this! (yeah right)! I just felt compelled to thank you (even if you never see it) from the bottom of my heart.
I think it's just the coolest that your Hungarian because so I am! Did you know that out of all the nationalities Hungarians have the most sex. How cool is that, and I am sure that you really helped out the numbers. And there are no complaints from this happy home either!
I hope that you guys keep touring because I really want to experience that with my boys. I'm a 33 year old KISS virgin! We live near Dayton The Nutter Center is huge and less than a mile from our new home we are building right now. So what do you say, come to Fairborn, Ohio and I will make you an awesome Hungarian meal. Anyway I know that is never going to happen, but just thought I would throw it in there!
Best Wishes and thanks again! Keep Rock'n

Hey Gene-
I was at the show the other night at the Hyundai Bowl in Devore, CA. (Excellent show, by the way, you guys have rarely sounded better in the many shows I have seen since the return of the make-up).
I was around 20 rows from the stage right in the center. Right around the beginning of "Love Gun", something cought my eye and I realized it was somebody falling down almost right in front of me. This guy fell pretty hard cause we felt it, and he lay on the ground between the chairs, not moving. I ran and got the people who work there and they got the medical people. I did see him open his eyes and communicate with the EMT's. I saw him moving his arms, but I'm almost positive when the EMT asked if he could feel him grabbing his feet, he said no. They put him in a neckbrace and on one of those hard boards and carried him out to a stretcher. I think he may be in bad shape.
My point in telling you all of this is just in case there is something you can do to acknowledge him in some way. It may be some small consolation to hear from you guys. He had on a newer Kiss shirt and he also had purchased one of the programs. Obviously a big fan.
I don't need to have this letter printed or to hear back from you, I just thought you'd like to know, 'cause I've come to believe you really do care about your fans.
Since '76,
David
I have known you through my husband of 14 years, He owns a $90,000.00 KISS collections, he has seen you over 15 times and met you back stage on one occasion, I personally have seen you on 4 occasions, my children have seen you on 2 occasions. Needless to say, we are big fans..... my husband even wants me to sleep with you, I do not think is is a good idea. You guys are all great, I was at the last concert with my 5 and 9 year old boys and my husband at Auburn, Washington by the way we are from Surrey,B.C. We have seen the DVD of Symphony Australia, a lot of hard work, excellent combination. but I must say I take offence to your recent publication picture of your Guitar Bass Article Picture....
in this picture you are depicting yourself flying infront of a group of naked women resembling your makeup in front of a holy cathedral.... I have no problem with KISS but, I do have a slight issue with the issue of publication of KISS with Church.
Kiss Rules,
Sara
