Just a line to ask who decides whether a song performed on a tour is dropped or remains in the set list.I Pledge Alliegance sounded very good earlier in the tour,just wondered why and who dropped it....

We actually listen to the fans. If a song goes down well, it stays. If it doesn't, it usually goes. Obscure songs are put into the set to show the fans we try to make the shows more varied. But invariably, audience reaction rules. That's the only gauge we can see and hear for ourselves.

Do not want to insult you asking a question that is about ACE. Have you hear anything about how he is doing? I mean I quess maybe he wants to stay out of the public arena with his life. Just somewhat concerned that there is no info about his doings or "undoings" Thanks for the time.

What is your opinion on independent fundamental baptists? They are different than southern baptists in that they teach strongly on being seperate from the world and not compromising. They teach the old ways like Charles Spergeon, Lester Roloff, D.L. Moody and many others did. I just read a book by Dr. Shelton Smith (swordofthelord.com) called "ISLAM : A RAGING STORM" that explained the false religion of islam and how to win muslims to Christ. What is your take on all of this? -- Doug Meyers

Dear Gene

Did you hear about the earthquake in Japan? My husband Yutaka grew up in Japan but he said it was the strongest he ever felt. He has his KISS figurines in a display case and this is what they looked like after the earthquake.
It`s as if they just finished a wild concert.  Have you ever been in an earthquake? It is a very scary experience.
We are lucky, we just had things fall off of shelves but the people in Niigata just finished having a typhoon blow through and now this. Please send up good thoughts to the people who live here.

Dear Gene,

Just to say that me and my friend are really quiet wrapped up in your life- philosophy at the moment. We're thinking of starting our own business so we can become rich and live life the way we would like to( and buy lots and lots of Platinum packages for KISS). You've inspired me to do my utmost to try and achieve things that I would have just put away in the 'dreams' closet before.
About the women and the sex/love mix up. I think the biological thing of women nesting does play a part in our attitudes to the aforementioned. I also believe that a lot of our sexual psyche has been controlled over many years by a variety of religions that teach us sex is dirty and something to be ashamed of, esp. in regards to women. It's something that has lingered with us and it's ridiculous. People should spend more time telling people to use condoms than telling them that sex is wrong. Where would you or I be without it??
Going to KISS expo in Nottingham. Very excited. Woohoooooo!

By the way, with your great ideas, have you ever thought of running for president? I'd vote for you if I could.

Hello...Gene...

I have a question for you...that I hope that you would honor with a honest reply. I know that you are truthful...even if it may be perceived as being...arrogant...many times...women wonder...

If You were to look into my eyes...
Would you care to see what is inside...
Or would You even care...

I'm asking because it seems...that many seem so shallow...that they only care to admire the exterior...and little else.

Many find it hard to believe...let alone take you serious...if you are attractive...and are actually perusing a career that requires an increased level of difficulty... intellectually.

I asking You because...I respect your opinions...Not to mention...I would hope that you would care...about what is...inside.

I know that you have been everywhere...and have met...everyone...and perhaps these assets and not commonly suited...as a rule...but I tend to try to see the beauty in everyone I meet...and try to assess...their motives...if you will...and for this very purpose...is the main reason why...I tend to remain extremely careful...of the company I keep...I look for people who have qualities that I admire...and maybe...understand concepts that I don't...people who already have some achievements...under their belt...so that I can...grow...and become a stronger and more...well-rounded...person. I still love everyone...as a rule... and try to have compassion on those...who can't see...perhaps...what screams out to me...so loudly. I'm honestly not trying to be judgmental...for I know that I am...far from perfect...but I can tell you...that I try very hard to guard my tongue...and look at how I treat others...in hope that I may be treated...with the same respect.

You know that I still wish upon stars...hoping that where ever you are...You are safe and loved...
And perhaps someday...by chance, I'll have the opportunity to chat with you...and meet you...
