Hi Gene

Got a big surprise yesterday when i heard my kids ( 7 & 10 ), go ballistic in the living room while watching tv .
when i walked in to find out what the fuss was all about i saw My Dad The Rock Star on one of our local channels , SABC 1 .
We also caught you in Red surf on our action channel , cool movie and great acting .
I loved the bit where you tell George Clooney that alot of folks raise children without drugs .
I also learned a lot from reading kiss & make up and sex , money , kiss , and watching your Speaking in tongues dvd .
Your way of thinking ( and doing things ) have really worked well for me .
Once i put my intrerests first , i was able to improve every one around me's lives .
We may never see Kiss or yourself here in South - Africa , but through your books , dvd's etc you make a great impact on us .

Fans forever

Hey Gene,

I was watching the 25 Greatest Power Ballads on VH1 yesterday and Beth was #3!! Also, right now I'm watching I Love 1979. They were talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers winning the SuperBowl, and in the background they were playing I Love It Loud. Then right after I Love It Loud ended, Shout It Out Loud came on. KISS is everywhere! A couple of weeks ago I was in Findlay, Ohio and I saw a huge poster that had the KISS logo on it propped up against a billboard.

You inspired me to start playing bass. You're my hero and it's my dream to become a rock star just like you. Keep on rockin, Gene!

Lots of Love,
Kate Buttery

P.S. Is KISS planning on going on tour anytime soon?

This was at the International Plastic Modelers Society/USA 2005 National Convention in Atlanta, GA. I do not know who did this one, but it looks great...

Sirius radio reported that you will be appearing on the next Foo Fighters CD. Fact or Fiction?

Response from Gene:

False.

Hi Gene,

Saturday we went to the Bal Masque that Marlies Dekkers (dutch lingerie designer) organized in Amsterdam.
Guess where we got our inspiration from to make the masks.
Check the Nokia fashion shoot at www.fashionistas.nl and fote for the KISS inspired masks.

Best wishes to you and all the KISS fans,

Chris Stern

I believe I have a KISS sighting to report:

On the fairly new comedy central show called "Stella", the latest episode featured the three guys getting beat up by some little kids that rob the paper boys all the time. Then, they see some people they know, and put on "black face" makeup to cover their injuries, and when the girls tell them to wipe it off, each guy takes his shirt and just runs it down his face magically taking off the makeup, but one of the guys keeps the starchild on his face, the perfect paul stanley eye star.  I think it might have been set-up, but it was cool seeing that KISS' influence is everywhere.

Gene,

Glad to see you at the San Diego Comic-con. I got some pictures of you that sort of tell a story about your power. Here we have Hellboy and his evil antagonist getting all the free press. "Hellboy, Hellboy, look this way Hellboy!" Then out of nowhere walks Gene Simmons. He looks around amid shouts of "Gene, Gene Simmons, is that Gene Simmons?, Gene, Gene, Mr. Simmons" and then walks past drawing all the press away from Hellboy in his wake. Everyone left thought it was freakin' comedy because Hellboy was like, "Aw, c,mon, where'd all the love go?" So now we know, Gene Simmons VS. Hellboy - Gene wins!

Hey Gene,

I was watching some tv last night and saw a how called; Just shoot me. It's a comedy and it was about playing in an airband. They were Doing it on Rock and roll all night! They played it a couple of times. And offcourse the big man was Gene Simmons, the Demon.

Hi Gene,

My friends Les and Barbara just returned from their honeymoon in St. Thomas.  They found this piece of coral that they thought looked like your tongue washed up on the beach.

After a chicken breast shaped like Pope John Paul II, a grilled cheese sandwich with the Virgin Mary and a piece of toast with Michael Jackson's face, how much do you think people would bid for this?

P.S. I can't wait to see the Rock the Nation DVD. I was at the Nissan Pavilion show. It was the best KISS show I've ever seen. I hope you guys tour again.
