The first episode of ROCK SCHOOL was a lot of fun.
I just happened to catch your Biography on A & E and thought it was excellent! I have been a fan since I was eight years old, hell at one time there was barely a speck of paint to be seen on the oversized closet room I had as a kid due to all the Kiss posters covering the walls, and I am proud to say that I still have all the posters, magazines and Kiss cards that I collected back then!
How are you doing? i just wanted to write and say that i just saw 'Gene Simmons Rock School' and i loved it. Thats a great group of kids who need to learn about what rock n roll is really about and your awesome at teaching them that. I wish there were teachers like you at my school. Can't wait to see what you bring to the class next week. Take care.
Love Ya Man!! Love your "Rock Show" on VH1 even though those kids don't seem to appreciate you very much. Speaking of kids... I was just watching " America's Most Talented Kids" on PAX tv tonight, August 19, 2005 8pm est and there was a 9 yr old boy named Angelo Coppola who just banged away on a full drum set to KISS'S "Rock & Roll All Night" with his face painted in Peter Criss's make-up!! His father said that he went to his first KISS concert at age 3 and has been a fan ever since! Angelo said that he has all of KISS's cd's, all the action figures/dolls, and even has KISS legos (when did KISS make a lego set by the way??..lol!)
I have been reading everyone's reviews on "Rock School." I am excited for you, to say the least. You never cease to amaze the nay-sayers and the loyal KISS Army soldiers that have been there through thick and thin. My only regret is that I am STILL in Iraq, and have no way of watching it. Oh well, maybe one day I'll catch the episodes that I have missed. I do wish you all the best, and cannot WAIT to see you guys on the road.
Not sure if your fans are aware, the debut release of BAG's cd has been moved back to September 13th. The first single, I Can't Stand Your Face" will be accompanied by a shocking, graphically sexual video directed by Casseus, and features a cameo of Bag's record company owner, Mr. Gene Simmons himself, doing what most women would love having him do. In this video, Simmons gives a whole new meaning to "Lick It Up"...use you imagination sports fans..!! Lighthearted and hysterically masterful, BAG and Simmons seem hell bent on shocking the world with such titallating imagery including a bare breasted midget. And thats just in the first minute and a half of this almost 4 minute video certain to shock, rock, and roll the world, and leaving them,you.. wanting more!!. KISS fans, brace yourself, just when you thought Gene couldnt shock or surprise you, he manages to by bringing out this unique, talented artist known simply as BAG. I just wanted to tell ya that I loved the show Emperor is my new hero sorry big guy :) I could so relate to him, this will make me cool I'll fit in. How many of us have been at that place in our lives? And when he was rocking out to Crazy Nights show me one fan who hasn't pranced around singing that song. I was waiting for him to beat his chest if he would have pouted I'd have come undone. I can't wait till next week. Good job Gene.
