This is more of a statement than a question, but I want to tell you how much I enjoy your show on A&E. I am a probation officer, have been for over 17 years, and am raising my two children as well as my three step-children and I think that you are the epitome of what a family should be. Gene and Shannon have, obviously, been good, caring parents and it shows in their children. You should be proud. If I could get the Court to agree to using your show as an example of good parenting - I would!

Thanks again for the entertainment and for showing me that there are still good parents out there - sometimes I forget!

I watch your show and love it! I truly felt emotional during the episode of when you came home from your surgery. I felt so sad for Nick and Sophie's emotional response. They seem like great kids. I just wanted to say that after meeting you and your family at the Bel Age Hotel for Easter in 2000 and now watching your show, that I have a lot of respect for you. You are a kind and loving soul and very talented. Although I have never purchased any Kiss music what I have heard I liked. My Girlfriend just gave me this awesome shot of you on stage, a real nice close-up of your face, judging by the costume it is in the 80's. The weird thing is, in the photo, there is a band going around your top-front teeth. Almost retainer like. Did you ever have to wear one?

Truly inspiraitonal! Also, I am glad someone else does not believe in marriage, I have been with my partner for 32 years, we have two beautiful daughters and we never did the ceremony rites either. If its not broke, don't have to fix it. Besides we still practice our own ceremony rituals behind closed doors after 32 years.

First, are these replies really from you? I’ve see the Family Jewels show – I don’t see any one but you looking at the computer.
Hey – I want to drop a note to Nick.
Nick – Don’t tell Dad, but you are the real star of the show. You really have Dad figured out. I am amazed at how you can out joust him – physiologically.
That’s not to say that Gene isn’t pretty savvy – one does not amass fortunes like he has with out savvy but you know how to move around him in a cool way.

I really enjoy Family Jewels. Gene – I especially appreciated how you cared for the baby you though was adopted. Beneath that manly macho of yours beats a kind heart. Although my girls (all 7 of em) kinda like that kind of macho.. Thanks for sharing you and your family.
