 I just wanted to tell you how much I love your TV show 'My Dad the Rock Star" Rock Zilla is just so cool. Every time he howls or screams it makes me want to howl and scream too. He really Rocks. I also love his spiritual wife Crystal. She is so pretty. I really do hope that you do plan to do more with Rock Zilla because I love him so much. I think it would be a great idea if you did live Rock Zilla shows for kids and also since you do KISS comics maybe you could do a series of Rock Zilla comics too. Maybe even another book..."

 GENE SIMMONS GETS FRESH!!!
Australia's freshest music show, So Fresh are very pleased to announce that they will be featuring an extensive interview with Kiss legend Gene Simmons.
Highlights of the interview include Gene discussing his brand new solo album, his many business ventures and the fanaticism of the Kiss Army.
Producer/Interviewer,Dave Forrester said "it was an honour to have met one of the most successful people in the music business and we feel very privileged that Gene would give up his valuable time to appear on our show".
Part one of the interview will air nationally on Saturday June 5th at 10am on the Nine Network. Part two will air the following week on Saturday June 12th at 10am.
The full interview will be posted on the show's website ninemsn.com.au/sofresh in upcoming week's.

"...I have had the most KISSterical week ever. I'm in a bit of a post-concert depression now! Life is so dull when you're not at a KISS concert... The shaking up of the set list was so awesome, all those old songs sounded so fantastic live!! I never expected to hear them and my dreams came true. At the Brisbane show we were like 10m from the stage, I only just got all my hearing back a couple of days ago! We flew down to Melbourne last year just to see KISS (we live here in Brisbane), but we were like 14 miles from the stage, so it was amazing to be right up the front..."

The Australian KISS tour is a monster and the band is getting along great. Having a ball. Can't wait to get to Japan and then the US.
I am in Sydney and ASSHOLE has just been released here to great fanfare. Ironically, Australia has no problem with Asshole as a word. Apparently the names of body parts aren't censored here as they are in the US. They're playing the title song, ASSHOLE on radio in heavy rotation. The response is very good.
About to do a marathon media assault of tv, radio and print.
And, will be doing an ASSHOLE In Store in Brisbane and Sydney.
MY DAD THE ROCK STAR, my cartoon show, is a big hit down under and can be viewed on Nick.
BAG, our first signing on Simmons Records/Sanctuary Music Group is hard at work finishing his first album...and I have to say this is one of my favorite song collection in quite some time. Wait till you hear it.
Just saw the video edit of FIRESTARTER, the first single and it looks hot. Hot girls. Hot locations and...yes, hot ME.

I was watching the Lakers/Spurs playoff game and they where playing the drum intro to "I Love It Loud" several times throughout the whole game. They looped over and over and played it to cheer up the crowd.

I was just watching the Sf Giants/Ny Mets game from Shea Stadium on Fox...and the opening to "I Love It Loud" came up over the loudspeaker at the stadium. I'm a Giants fan, but those New Yorkers certainly have good taste.

Just came from helping our team edit the first video from the forthcoming ASSHOLE album: Firestarter. I am the Original G...that's Gene. I have guitar picks older than most of these guys....I think you'll love the video.
And, just finished editing the Aug 4th release of the SPEAKING IN TONGUES dvd...which chronicles my lecture tour of Australia about a year and a half ago. It also features behind the scenes stuff shot at my home, behind the scenes footage of the Firestarter video shoot and for the first time anywhere, you get to go to the first ASSHOLE PARTY...the cameras captured all of it...
...of course so did the A and E tv crew for the Simmons tv special.
ASSHOLE coming in June the 8th.
Meantime, I have to pack to go off to tour Australia and Japan with my favorite band, KISS. I have an hour to pack.
We will be back in America by mid June for a US tour lasting until the Fall. See you there.

Two days ago, got up to do satellite radio interviews from 6 am till 9:00, promoting my appearance on NBC's THIRD WATCH.
Then went over to the edit bey to edit the last stages of SPEAKING IN TONGUES dvd. It's done. And I think it looks very good.
And, hurried over to a nearby hotel to join my KISS bandmates for a VH1 special "When KISS Ruled The World."
Finished in the evening just in time to head over to the airport for the last flight to Denver.
Yesterday, I got up and my partners and I met with Denver corporate officials re our TELEVISION NETWORK project -- which I still can't be too specific about.
Hopped on a flight back to LA to join the A&E TV crew, who were already in my home interviewing young Nick, Sophie and Miss Tweed for a forthcoming GENE SIMMONS ASSHOLE 24/7 tv special.
And, already there, were VH1, who were filming my KISS collection.
Everyday is a full day. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

LEGENDARY 'KISS' CO-FOUNDER GENE SIMMONS ROCKS ON WHEN HE GUEST-STARS AS VENGEFUL FATHER ON NBC'S 'THIRD WATCH'
APRIL 30 AND MAY 7
BURBANK - April __, 2004 - Gene Simmons -- the co-founding member of the legendary rock band KISS - will make a rare television episodic appearance when he guest-stars in two May sweeps episodes on NBC's "Third Watch" (Fridays, 10-11 p.m. ET) as a vengeful mob boss determined to exact revenge on the police.
Simmons, who has occasionally guest-starred on TV as himself, will first appear in the "Higher Calling" episode on April 30 (along with fellow guest stars Henry Winkler and Kate Jackson) and returns on the following Friday, May 7. He portrays a drug kingpin whose son, also involved in the family business, is killed during a car chase with Bosco (Jason Wiles) and Yokas (Molly Price).
In "Higher Calling," the officers find a headless torso and have no idea that one of their own will later share in the worst kind of grief. Meanwhile, Yokas (Molly Price) is appalled when she uncovers evidence of child abuse, and suspects a dysfunctional mother (Jackson, "Charlie's Angels") and father (Winkler, "Happy Days) of the crime.
In the second episode, "Monsters," a murderous father (Simmons) is on a mission to kill the cops responsible for the death of his son. Cruz (Tia Texada), Bosco (Jason Wiles) and Yokas (Molly Price) are his main targets. As the cops are lured to their fates in different destinations, Yokas (Molly Price) gets some startling family news, and the new paramedic Grace (guest star Cara Buono) turns some heads with her take-charge street savvy.
Simmons - the son of a Hungarian Holocaust survivor -- co-founded KISS in the mid-1970s as the group wore heavy makeup and outrageous costumes to accompany their equally incendiary antics on stage. The band is America's #1 gold record champions of all time (RIAA-Group Category). Reunion tours and an avalanche of merchandising products have won a new generation of fans for the foursome. In May, Simmons will unveil his first solo album in 26 years from Simmons Records/Sanctuary Music Group.
Among Simmons' feature films are "Wanted: Dead or Alive," "They New Guy," "Detroit Rock City" and "Runaway." He made his TV acting debut on a 1985 episode of NBC's "Miami Vice."
"Third Watch" is from John Wells Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. John Wells, Christopher Chulack, Edward Allen Bernero and Brooke Kennedy are executive producers. Bernero and Wells are co-creators.
