 Thank you everyone for making our GENE SIMMONS TONGUE #2 PARTY such a blast. I crawled out of Barfly after Midnight and there was STILL a long line waiting and trying to get in. There were more beautiful girls per square inch than I've seen since.... well, the day before, actually. Our cover girl CARRIE STEVENS was ravishing. I'll be attending the TATTOO SHOW at the Meadowlands in the New York/New Jersey area on Oct. the 5th. We'll be covering the event for a big feature in the 4th issue of GENE SIMMONS TONGUE magazine. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

 I'll be appearing on BILL O'REILLY's PROGRAM on Fox - Wednesday, Sept 25 at 3:30 LA time. Live.
Friday night, we will be holding our GENE SIMMONS TONGUE #2 PARTY at Barfly on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood. Cover Girl Carrie Stevens who, among other things was Eric Carr's girlfriend years ago, will be there along with a great mixture of the cool and the fabulous. Guest list is very tight.
Don't even try it. But, if you're on the list, come up and say hi.

Went to the INSKLINGERS BALL -- a tattoo convention, at the Palladium in Hollywood. A sight to see. More than one tattooed person walked up to me and proudly showed me their KISS tattoos.
 My partner in the book imprint joint venture, SIMMONS BOOKS/NEW MILLENIUM Michael Viner and his lovely wife Debbie Raffin, invited me and the lovely Shannon Tweed to go see BILL MAHER doing his act at the Canyon. We laughed till we cried. Bill pointed out that married men live longer... like indoor cats live longer than wild ones. Indoor cats are fat, sad furballs on four legs who stare at the wall and slowly wait to die. He was hilarious.

Yesterday morning did the DANNY BONNADUCI radio program on my cell phone -- here in LA to promote the upcoming GENE SIMMONS TONGUE #2.
Then went over to FOX TV for their San Francisco hookup.
NORWEGIAN television came over to the house to do a special on our magazine.
And finally ended the day going to the premier of THE TUXEDO. Get your popcorn, sit back and have fun. That's the kind of movie it is.
Afterwards, my film partner Rich Abrahmson and young Nick Simmons joined a small gathering with JACKIE CHAN, the movie's star. Jackie couldn't have been more cordial. It's a bit early to go into details, but there's at least one and possibly two projects we're circling.
Radio DJ ELLEN K woke me up at 7:15 in the morning to talk to me on the air. Ellen and co-host RICK DEES have a show that's heard in syndication in most of the states in the U.S. Ellen also just did a foto shoot and interview for GENE SIMMONS TONGUE #3, which is about to go off to the printers even as we speak.
In that issue I've interviewed: Virgin's RICHARD BRANSON. TRL/LAST CALL's CARSON DALY. ROSEANNE. our cover girl, JENNA JAMISON. SPAWN creator and former KISS PSYCHO CIRCUS publisher TODD MCFARLANE. Groupie Queen PEGGY TRENTINI. It's a huge issue. Look for it.

On the panel were among others, Daisy Fuentes, Magic Johnson and Arsenio Hall. I had a ball. Look for a full week's episodes on CBS in early October.

Went to the PLAYBOY MANSION to catch the Vargas/De La Hoya ruckus.
Amazing fight. Mark Wahlberg, Weird Al Yankovich and others hung out to catch the action with Hef and the girls.
 While there, I ran into Fred Durst, who's LIMP BIZKIT is in the studio recording their next with Rick Rubin producing. Fred invited us down to report on the goings on for GENE SIMMONS TONGUE #4.
GS TONGUE #3 is about to go off to the printers in a couple of weeks.
Very exciting stuff.
September 8th -
 Was invited to go to Pamela Des Barres' birthday bash. Pam wrote a "groupie" piece for our GENE SIMMONS TONGUE issue 2. At the party, I corralled WEIRD AL YANKOVIC, the Knack's DOUG FEIGER and Berlin's TERI NUNN into one room. I brought out a tape recorder and started rolling tape. Took fotos. Article should appear in Issue 3 or 4.

 Excited to report I'm on my way to scout a site for the first GENE SIMMONS STORE. This one will open in Hollywood. More details later.

 Going into the EXTRA studios today to do some voice-overs on my JEWEL interview -- which, FYI is scheduled to be broadcast Wednesday.
And, happy to report I finished recording my spoken-word book, KISS AND MAKEUP for my debut release on my own imprint, SIMMONS AUDIO. We hope to have it out before Xmas.
