Paul and I just got back from the NHRA - NATIONAL HOT ROD ASSOCIATION races held in Las Vegas. Read all about it at KISSONLINE.COM.
While there, my partner Allen Tuller (pub GENE SIMMONS TONGUE magazine) rolled up his sleeves and took some fotos of some of the exciting parties we went to. THE FETISH BALL (you'll see the fotos in our next issue) and the afterparty with JULIO IGLESIAS JR, who is also being managed by Doc McGhee. I heard Jr's record and it's actually quite good. You'll be hearing about him.
Tomorrow morning, am flying back to Australia for my SPEAKING IN TONGUES lecture tour. Looking forward to it. Aussies (if you've never been down there) are some of the nicest people you will ever meet.

Got up at 5:45 am to do satellite interviews with 20 radio stations -- and an additional 80 stations that were serviced by MTV Radio Satellite to promote my upcoming KISS AND MAKEUP paperback edition -- featuring 4 different covers and some new stuff, including photos you might find interesting. The 4 Cover Collector's Edition is out in early November.

October 13th -
 While I was in New York attending the Tattoo Con at Meadowlands, and while I was having breakfast in the lobby of my hotel, I ran into BILL AUCOIN. Bill, in case some of you don't know, used to manage KISS from l974 through 1982. We parted company and he went on to manage BILLY IDOL, BILLY SQUIRE and a number of other artists. Bill and I have agreed to do an interview for an upcoming issue of GENE SIMMONS TONGUE magazine in a few weeks. Look for it.
BILL O'REILLY and I missed each other for our scheduled interview session. It's being rescheduled for early November.
Am leaving for Australia in a few days but will continue to post news as it happens.

October 4th -
The past few days, the entire GENE SIMMONS TONGUE staff has been over to my house putting the finishing touches on Issue #3. We hope to send it off to the printers in a week or so. Allen Tuller and I are very excited about the issue. If you've tuned in late, we have cover girl JENNA JAMISON, Virgin head RICHARD BRANSON, ROSEANNE BARR, Last Call's CARSON DALY, and lots of cool other stuff, among which is... GENE SIMMONS INTERVIEWS THE DEMON. 'Nuff said!!!
And, if all the above wasn't enough, artist OLIVIA came over to be interviewed for Issue #4. Olivia has painted everyone from Shannon Tweed to Anna Nicole Smith.
And, my book/audio imprint partner, Michael Viner came over with a tape of my first release on SIMMONS AUDIO, "KISS AND MAKEUP". It won't be out till next year, however.
And, GENE SIMMONS BUY THIS VOL I, the debut book release on SIMMONS BOOKS/NEW MILLENIUM is nearing completion and will likewise probably see the light of day in the beginning of the new year.
And, Crown Books were kind enough to send me a preview of the soft cover edition of KISS AND MAKEUP, which will be available with 4 different covers. If you put them together, they complete a puzzle. When you see the books, you'll understand.
October 3rd -
 Got up at 3:30 am for a 5 am interview live - via satellite with Australia's FOOTY SHOW. Footy is Australian for Football (Australian, that is). The show was seen live by 6,000 sports fans in Melbourne and I was glad to have had the opportunity to say hello to everyone.
Just a week or so before I head over there for the start of my "Lecture Tour."
And, this Saturday, I'll be at the Meadowlands in the tri-state NY/NJ/PHIL area for the International TATTOO CONVENTION. I'm sure everyone in the area already knows all about this. Come up and say hi.
