The HOWARD STERN radio show featured what many people thought was me on the air today. It was not. A great comic by the name of Craig does an impression of me. I'm told it's believable. I've heard him do me and I've met Craig and I don't think it sounds like me....but, what do I know. Either way, save the hate mail, I was not on the Howard Stern Show today. It was not me.

Our GS TONGUE foto editor Dave Safian, a staff writer and I went down to Glamourcon to visit some of our beautiful friends. The ladies were behind tables signing fotos of themselves for the fans. There was more beauty per square inch than flowers in a vase. You could actually smell the perfume wafting through the hallways.
And thereafter, we went down to Lady In Waiting Jeanne's house, where she showed us some wrestling moves. Jeanne used to be a part of GLOW, Glorious Ladies Of Wrestling under the name Hollywood.
Be on the lookout for fotos and stories of these events in Issue #4 of GENE SIMMONS TONGUE (out in early February). Issue #3 is off to the printers and will see the light of day in two or three weeks.

 Am in the middle of interviewing KISS former manager BILL AUCOIN for issue #4 of GS TONGUE. Bill had some great stories to tell. Before I do part II of the interview this weekend, if any of you have questions for Bill, send em in.

 Interviewed Chuck Zito for GS TONGUE #4, who just released his autobiography, STREET JUSTICE (St. Martins Press). Chuck has a fascinating story to tell. His father was a professional boxer. They lived in the Bronx. Chuck's first boxing match was at age 12. He got married at age 17 and then went on to become a Hell's Angel, a security person (for LIZA MINNELLI, DIANA ROSS, CHER, JEAN CLAUDE VAN DAMME among others) and has acted (recurring role on HBO's OZ, among others). In Chuck's words, he has "..never started a fight, but has never walked away from one, either."
A few years ago, New York newspapers reported a confrontation between Chuck and Van Damme. Van Damme got the worst of it. Read all about it in Issue #4.

 I interviewed GIRLS GONE WILD creator Joe Francis at his Mantra Prod offices. In case you've been living in a cave. Girls Gone Wild are those late night videos showing "college and fraternity girls" doing what they do best -- lifting and separating them. Joe has parlayed those videos into doing production work for Playboy. He recently also followed Eminem on tour and documented what happened there -- backstage and at the hotel.
I brought along two friends, Kaya and Stacy, who were happy to pose for our cameras along with Joe... all to be shown in GENE SIMMONS TONGUE #4.
Issue #3 is on its way to the printers and should hit newsstands in three weeks.
November 10th -
Took Mr. Nick Simmons to see Korn and Disturbed at Long Beach Arena. Jonathan and the guys were very gracious. Took fotos of the goings on backstage. You'll see em soon enough in a future GENE SIMMONS TONGUE.

Also took NS to see Eminem in his screen debut, 8 MILE. Whether you're a rap fan or not, this is solid film making and Eminem does a very credible job. His acting has much more depth than other rock stars I've seen trying to act. Go see it.

Just got back from Down Under. Thank you all for making me feel at home. Australia is a country unlike any other. For one thing, it's the only COUNTRY/CONTINENT in one. It's population is around 20-25 million... about the number of people in the Los Angeles and San Francisco area.
The Australian flights on Richard Branson's VIRGIN AIRLINES were a lot of fun. The Virgin Stewardesses hammed it up, took fotos and applied our makeup on their faces for the passengers.
When I'd arrive at different cities, "Gene Girls" would be waiting... in little "cat suits" made of leather and rubber....
I had a camera crew film my "lectures" and after I've had a chance to watch and edit the material, plans are to bring out a LONG FORM VIDEO/DVD, perhaps BOOK and probably an AUDIO BOOK... on my imprint.
Michael Kroger and Ann Peacock of Madison Ent were my hosts and treated me like family. I won't soon forget it.
We'll be printing photos and stories about the whole trip in issue #4 of GENE SIMMONS TONGUE magazine.
Issue #3 is off to the printers. Be looking for it around the Holiday Season.

CBS' Morning Show with the beautiful JULIE CHEN will interview Paul and myself on Tuesday, Dec. 3rd. We'll be talking about photographer Waring Abbott's new Crown Books, KISS: THE EARLY YEARS. Waring was there with us at the beginning and if you haven't seen this book, you should.
