December 27th -
A belated Best Holiday Wishes to you all, or as I like to put it "Happy Everything There Ever Was", or "Happy Another Day Above Ground Day" which about covers it all. How to wish someone all the best has gotten way out of wack. To those of you to whom it means more, Merry Christmas. To those of you to whom it does not, Good Wishes.
Working on some Big New Ventures -- to be announced soon.
In the meantime, for those of you who will be on this side of the Coast, I will be a Keynote Speaker at the BRANDED ENTERTAINMENT CONFERENCE to be held at the Renaissance in Hollywood on January the 17th. Generally, it's not open to the public, I'm told. It seems confined to a few hundred CEO's and decision makers in corporate America. I'll be talking about the "Gene Simmons Brand"...sound like I'm full of myself? You bet. Pick up an issue of BILLBOARD, BRANDWEEK or other industry magazines and you'll see the full pager that gives you all the details.
We will also be filming the event for our GENE SIMMONS FAMILY JEWELS/A&E show.
On the way to a (..gulp) vacation....Not really. I don't do vacations and don't want any. I love what I do and a vacation would only take me away from what I love doing: Staying busy. But we ARE going snowboarding to a vacation resort....and bringing our GS Family Jewels camera crews along for the festivities.
Until next time...

I just saw an episode of "that 70s Show" and it had you, gene, in it just saying "shut up and eat your corn flakes!" then it had you and some others singing, but I didnt think it sounded like your voice, was this you or someone pretending to be you?
Response from Gene:
We were on tour. That was Spiro in my makeup and outfit.

Hello Gene,
I flew in Amsterdam from Athens to attend the first paneuropean preview of the new Rock The Nation DVD in the local Hard Rock Cafe, due to the fact that the official release is later in Europe than USA. You see, I'm a fan for the last 28 years (37 y.o.) and I couldn't wait to get the DVD later (when I want something I WANT IT AND I GET IT NOW).
During my staying in Amsterdam I visited Madame Tussauds' Wax Museum and in the "Music Division" there was you! So, I send you the attached foto! Hope you enjoy it!
Cheers!

Hey Gene,
Hope all is good with you. Just wanted to let you (and all Aussies) know that the Third Watch episode/s in which you appear will be screening next week, in Sydney anyway. The voice over guy actually mentioned your name too which was pretty cool. Hope you & yours have a great Xmas and a prosperous New Year.
Regards
Marty, Syd Australia

Gene-
Ona recent edition of Fresh Air Al Franken tells his own "horrible Gene Simmons story" about how he bested you at racquetball. It appears 15 minutes into his interview. I was wondering what your side of the story was.

Response from Gene:
Al is correct. David Letterman and Franken and I, somehow wound up on the same courts. Franken and I played. Franken got the best of me. I didn't know how to play then. However, whenever she (..pardon me) he wants to play, I'm ready for her.

Hi Mr. Simmons!
I'm a 24 years old norwegian girl, and my oldest son (And myself ;-)) are big fans of "My dad the rockstar".
I'm so happy there's a modern tvshow for kids, without all the nonsense like Pokemon and that sort of shows.
You have certainly sucseeded in making a show that is very entertaing, but at the same time it has the values and warmth in it that I miss from my own chilhood. Congratulations, and thank you!
I'd also like to tell you that I truly admire your ability to do so many things at the same time, that is really admirable!
At the Gene Simmons rock school you surprised me again, in a positive manner ofcourse. Your pedagogic skills are something I'll strive to achieve when I finnish my own education for beeing a teatcher. The way you treated those kids made my heart warm more than once :-)
But to the question: How many episodes more will there be of "My dad, the rock star"?
Wish you and your all the best, keep up the great work!
Best wishes,
Cathrine, Norway
Response from Gene:
So far, we have 26 episodes of MY DAD THE ROCK STAR. More may be coming soon.

Hi!
Just thought I'd send the latest from Finland... It's a cell phone operator ad saying "Now you can whip your tongue for only 2 cents a minute". The cell phone operator fight for market shares is really hot in here, they'll do anything to make people switch operators. This might just do it...
Best rgds,
Pete
